Using the Library

Prior to the Visit:

  • The online catalog: Hokkaido University Library Catalog
  • A letter of Introduction is recommended (Word,  PDF).

Upon Arrival:

  • Please present some form of personal ID.
Photocopy:
  • Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.
  • Please purchase a copy card at the vending machine in the library or the university co-op.
  • Users can take out information materials outside the library to make copies since there is only one copier (please make sure to ask the staff first).
