The Library, Graduate School of Economics holds 21,508 information materials (13,450 volumes in Japanese and 8,058 volumes  in Western languages), and 1,518 periodical titles (1,140 titles in Japanese and 378 titles in Western languages)(as of March, 2011).

Open to the Public

Prior to the Visit:

  • Letter of Introduction (紹介状 Shōkaijō) from your home institution library. Please use the following form if the home institution does not have one:
    • A letter of Introduction (Word,  PDF)
  • Please verify the desired material is available by using Hokkaido University Library Catalog.

Upon Arrival:

  • Please present some form of personal ID.
Photocopy:
  • Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.
  • Please purchase a copy card at the vending machine in the library or the university co-op.
