About the Library:

The Graduate School of Education and Faculty of Education Library was founded in 1949 when the Faculty was established, and its original collection of 6,407 books on education was moved from the Faculty of Letters.  Presently, it has 152,305 volumes and 2,080 periodical titles.  Its holdings cover pedagogy, educational history, educational psychology, educational sociology, educational administration, and other related fields, library science, and statistical materials on education.  

Collection Size:

• Books: 52,305 volumes

• Periodicals: 2,080 periodical titles

Focus: Pedagogy, Educational History, Educational Psychology, Educational Sociology, Educational Administration, Library Science,  Statistical Materials on Education.

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects a different romanization system used by an individual institution or collection.
