The Nakano Library hosts materials for the School of Global Japanese Studies, the School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences, and the Graduate School of Advanced Mathematical Sciences, and the Organization for Emerging Fields of Study. The library is located at Nakano Campus.

How to Use the Facility

Using the Library

Users can access to the library materials (without CD-ROMs) and photocopy service.

Prior to the Visit: Advance Inquiry and Preparation Required

  • Please ask the home institution library to contact them to verify the desired material is available (by Fax).
  • Please verify the desired material is available by using OPAC.
  • After receiving a reply from the library, please ask the home institution library to issue a referral letter (please feel free to use Library Materials Request Form
    • Material Request Form ( Word,  PDF).
  • Letter of Introduction (紹介状 Shōkaijō) from your home institution library (please use the following form if the home institution does not have one):
    • A letter of Introduction (Word,  PDF)

Upon Arrival:

  • Please present the referral letter and some form of personal ID.
