About the Library:

The JFIC Library is affiliated with The Japan Foundation, which is under the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).  The library collection focuses particularly on books and audio visual materials on Japan written in different languages, materials on international cultural exchange and policies, and Japan Foundation related publications.

Notable Collections:

​Crêpe-paper books:  The crêpe-paper book collection features Japanese culture were loved by foreigners and many were shipped overseas as gifts (100 items).

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects different romanization system used by an individual institution.
