Founded in 1850, the University of Rochester is a top-tier research institution. The River Campus, constructed in 1930, is home to the River Campus Libraries, the School of Arts and Sciences, the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the Simon School of Business, and the Warner School of Education.
