Using the Library

Prior to the Visit:

  • Please verify the desired material is available by using Nagoya University Library OPAC.
  • Please contact the library in advance for viewing the following materials:
  • Material with the Kenkyūshitsu haika 研究室配架 status in the OPAC
  • Please tell them the 8 digits ID number (8 digits followed by ZY, ZW, WS, YS for magazines) of the needed material.

Upon Arrival:

  • Please present some form of personal ID.


  • Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.
  • Please purchase pre-paid copy card at the university co-op (cost: 500 yen, 1,000 yen).
