National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo: Crafts Gallery Library (工芸館ライブラリ）

Using the library

• No coats or bags are allowed in the library.

• Except valuable articles and writing materials, personal belongings should be place in the provided coin operated locker.

• Please deposit 100 yen to the coin operated locker. The deposited money will be returned after use.

• Please leave umbrellas in the umbrella stand.

• No food or drinks are allowed in the library.
  

• Please receive library user tag (閲覧証 Eturanshō) and library material request form (閲覧申請書 Etsuran shinseisho) at the entrance. Please return the tag when leaving.

• Please write the library user tag number on the library material request form.

• Please do not use cellphones in the library.

• Most library materials are stored at the closed stack.

• For the closed stack materials, please fill out request forms (閲覧申請書) including name, address, title of the book or magazine (書名、誌名), call number (請求番号), etc.

• Up to 5 item may be taken out of the closed stacks at a time.  Please return materials before requesting additional items.

• For viewing the second closed stack, please ask the library before returning.
  

• Service Hours: 10:30-16:30

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.

• Copy Fee:

• Black: 30 yen

• Color: 100 yen

• Size: B4, B5, A4, A3

• Please fill out the request form (複写申請書 Fukusha shinseisho).

• Please insert the library's bookmarks both at the beginning and the end of pages intended to copy and bring it to the counter.

• Please pay at the counter and receive the receipt. The staff will make copies.

• Up to 5 materials and 50 copies are allowed.

• Only library materials owned by the library can be copied.
