About the library:

The Perkins & Bostock libraries are now the main library for the West Campus of Duke University, housing the humanities, social science and science collections, and is complemented by the Professional School libraries (Business, Divinity, Law and Medicine) and Lilly Library on East Campus. Perkins library originally opened in 1927, was expanded in 1949 and 1966, and gained an additional building, Bostock, in 2005.

Collection size: as the end of FY 2015 the library contained over 6.9 million items of which approximately 88,600 are in Japanese.
