About the Central Library:

Renovated in 2003, the Library has about 1,100 seats and about 100 computers.

In addition, there is  the Information Lounge, which is available for various students’ activities, the Media Hall, the Working Studios for group study and Café which is popular among students.

Upon Arrival:

• Please fill out the application form (学外者来館票 Gakugaisha raikanhyō) at the main counter.

• Please present some form of ID.

Photocopy:

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.

• Please fill out a copy request form (文献複写申込書 Bunken fukusha mōshikomisho ).

• Copy Fee:
• Black: 10 yen

Borrowing:

YNU Affiliates:

• UP to 5 books for 14 days

• For Alumni, former staff, please bring proof of affiliation such as diploma, proof of employment,  staff record, etc.

• Please bring some form of ID, proof of residency such as a mail that was received within last month.

• Please fill out (図書利用カード交付申請書 tosho riyō cado kōfu sinseisho) and submit at the Central Library main counter.

Kanagawa residents and Library Consortium of Universities in Yokohama City Students, Faculty/Staff:

• Up to 2 books for 14 days

• Please bring some form of ID, proof of in Kanagawa prefecture residency such as a mail that was received within last month.

• Please fill out (図書利用カード交付申請書 toshoriyō cado kōfu sinseisho) and submit at the Central Library main counter.
