About Seta Library:

Seta library holds natural sciences, social sciences humanities (370,000 volumes).

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects different romanization system used by an individual institution.

Using the Library

Prior to the Visit:

• Letter of Introduction (紹介状 Shōkaijō ) Required (from your home institution library). Please use the following form if the home institution does not have one:
  • Letter of Introduction (Word,  PDF)

Upon Arrival:

• Please present some form of personal ID.

Photocopy:

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.

• Please purchase copy card (1000 yen) at the co-op.
