Notable Collection(s)
  • Nagao Bunko: Corporate history collection (about 7,000 items).  About 70% of nation's corporate histories from the Meiji to Showa (1985) are covered in this collection.

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects different romanization system used by an individual institution.

Using the Library

Prior to the Visit:

  • Letter of Introduction (紹介状 Shōkaijō ) Required (from your home institution library). Please use the following form if the home institution does not have one:
    • Letter of Introduction (Word,  PDF)

Upon Arrival:

  • Please present some form of personal ID.

Photocopy:

  • Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.
  • Please purchase copy card (1000 yen) at co-op.

Accessing Rare Materials

Service Hours: 9:00-16:00

Photocopy:
  • Permission from the library is required.
  • Photocopy is performed by contractors appointed by the library.
  • Expenses are covered by individuals.
