About the Shinagawa Library:
The Shinagawa library was completed in 2004. The library uniquely combines its conventional library with a state of the art IT system. The library accommodates a combined total of 586,000 books and more than 600 computer terminals, which are used for lectures (distant learning) and as open terminals for students .
The library consists of three basement floors with the stack room, the reading room and the reference counter, and three-story floors with the main counter, computer facilities and the group reading room.
