About the Library:

In 1972, the Information and Media Center for Science and Technology, also known as the Matsushita Memorial Library, was built with the financial support from Kōnosuke Matsushita, the founder of Matsushita Electric Industrial Company, the predecessor to the Panasonic Corporation.  The Media Center focuses on information materials in the science and technology fields, and has provided support for the learning and research of Keio University students and faculty as well as researchers outside of the school.

Using the Library

Prior to the Visit:

  • Letter of Introduction (紹介状 Shōkaijō) from your home institution library. Please use the following form if the home institution does not have one:
    • A letter of Introduction (Word,  PDF)

Upon Arrival

  • Please fill out the Application for Media Center for Science and Technology Use (理工学メディアセンター利用申請書) at the counter by the entrance.
  • Please present some form of personal ID.

Photocopy:

  • Please refer to "Photocopying".
