Hitotsubashi University: Research Centre for Information and Statistics of Social Science (社会科学統計情報センター)

About the Facility:

The Research Center for Information and Statistics of Social Science (RCISS, or Shakaikagaku tokeijōhō kenkyu sentā) is an affiliated facility to the Hitotsubashi Institute of Economic Research.  RCISS gathers and manages social sciences-related information and statistics.  These information are widely available to researchers to contribute to the advancement of research in the humanities and social sciences.

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects different romanization system used by an individual institution.

Using the Library

Prior to the Visit:

• Please verify the desired material is available by using HERMES.

• Please fill out the "Application Form (Word),"on the "Guides" page.

• Please send the application form email, fax, or postal mail by Tuesday at 5PM prior to the week of the visit.

Upon Arrival:

• Please present some form of personal ID.

Photocopy:

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.
• Cost: 40 yen per sheet
