Hiroshima University: Archives (文書館）

About the Archives:

Hiroshima University Archives was opened in 2004 to organize and store documents important to the university and to collect, organize, store and disclose resources related to the university's history, as well as to engage in educational research on related fields.

Archival materials include documents about the university's first president, other important figures related to the university and past public records from the Hiroshima area.

Focus: Official documents

Notable Collection(s): 

• Morito Tatsuo Kinen Bunko (森戸辰男記念文庫): documents relating to our University's first president, Mr. Tatsuo Morito

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects a different romanization system used by an individual institution or collection.

• Please fill out the request form (利用申込書 Riyō mōshikomisho) to receive users' card (利用カード).
