Using the Library

Eligibility: Non affiliate users have limited access to their library resources.

Prior to the Visit: No Advance Inquiry and Preparation Required.

• Please verify that  the desired material is available by using Okayama University's OPAC.

Upon Arrival:

• One day Visit: Please fill out a visitor entrance request form (学外者入館申込票, Gakugaisha nyūkan mōshikomisho placed on the left side of the entrance) and submit the form with your ID.

• One Year Visit: You need to obtain a library card.

• Eligibility: 18 years or older (not for high school students).

• Please submit your ID.

• Hour: 09:00 - 17:00

Borrowing: 

• Up to 2 library materials

• Loan Period: 2 weeks

Photocopy:

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.

• Materials in the library only.

• For your research use only.

• Please fill out the photocopy application form.

• There are photocopiers for coins and photocopiers for prepaid cards (Co-op)in the library.

• Copy Fee:

• Black: 10 yen

• Color: 50 yen

Accessing Closed Stacks

Please fill out the closed stack materials request form (書庫所在資料請求票). Please ask the library staff for more details.

• Hours: Monday - Friday , 9:00 - 17:00
