About Medical Library:

The newly renovated library was open in May, 2014. The medical library is located in the Sakamoto campus.

Collection size (As of 2016):

• Books: 152,732 volumes
  • Japanese:80,067 volumes
  • Foreign languages: 72,665 volumes
• Periodicals:7,066 titles
  • Japanese:3,862 titles
  • Western languages:3,204 titles​

• Modern Medicine Histrorical Materials
• Catalogue of Early Japanese & Chinese Medical Books

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects different romanization system used by an individual institution.

Using the Library

Prior to the Visit:

• Please make sure that material(s) are available by checking the OPAC.

Upon Arrival:

• Please fill out the request form, Nagasaki daigaku fuzoku toshokan riyō tōroku shinseisho (長崎大学附属図書館利用登録申請書) and submit it at the counter.

Photocopy:

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.

• Self-service

• Copy Fee:
  • Black:10 yen

Accessing Rare Materials

• Please fill out Riyō kyokanegai (利用許可願)

• Please state the purpose of using materials such as research thesis and attach it with the form.
