About the Library:

The Library consists of: the main Library, Cyber Library (サイバーライブラリ) and Magazine Room (雑誌館).

• Periodical: 6,000 titles

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects different romanization system used by an individual institution.

Using the Library

Note: The library is open to residents of the city of Kobe over 20 years of age.  The following instructions are for those who have access to the library.

Upon Arrival:

• Please show student ID.

• Please fill out the application form for a one day pass and present valid personal identification at the reception desk.

Accessing Closed Stacks

• Please print out reference list from "BookInformation" on the OPAC.

• Please write your name and student ID number on the reference list and submit it at the counter on the second floor.

Photocopy:

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.

• Prepaid photocopy cards may be purchased at the school store.

• Please fill out the request form and drop it in the request box attached to a copier.

Borrowing:

• Please present student ID at the counter.

• Up to 5 items for 14 days.

• Nakayama Collection and Language materials can only borrowed up 2 items for 2 weeks.
