About Kansai University:
Kansai University (関西大学 Kansai daigaku) is a private university, which was originally founded as Kansai Law School by six judicial officers in November 1886. Kansai Law School was the first law school in Osaka. The founders taught that the law belongs to all citizens and and human rights under the law.
Currently Kansai University has 13 faculties: Law, Letters, Economics, Commerce, Sociology, Policy Studies, Foreign Language Studies, Health and Well-being, Informatics, Safety Science, Engineering Science, Environmental and Urban Engineering, and Chemistry, Materials, and Bioengineering, 12 graduate schools: Law, Letters, Economics, Commerce, Sociology, Informatics, Engineering Science, Foreign Language Education and Research, Psychology, Safety Science, East Asian Cultures, and Governance and 3 professional graduate schools: School of Law, School of Accountancy and Professional Clinical Psychology.The University has three campuses: Suita, Osaka and Takatsuki in Osaka Prefecture.
