About the Library:
The S. Takata Memorial Research Library was opened in 1994, commemorating the first and third president of the university, Sanae Takata. The library is a research library, containing materials for the faculty of political science and economics, law, commerce, education, and other social sciences, and related research. The library holds about 470,000 volumes (170,000 in Japanese, 300,000 in other languages).
