About Tokyo National Museum:

Opened in 1872, Tokyo National Museum is the oldest museum in Japan.
The museum consists of Honkan, Toyokan, Hyokeikan, Heiseikan, the Gallery of Hōryuji Treasures, the Kuroda Memorial Hall, the Museum Garden and Teahouses, and the Research and Information Center.
