About the Library:

Komazawa University Library currently (as of 2010) holds 959,309 books (721,401 in Japanese and Chinese, 237,908 in Western languages), and 10,569 periodical titles (6,821 in Japanese and Chinese, 3,748 in Western languages). The library has an especially solid collection in Zen Buddhism Studies (36,000), which is considered one of the best Zen collection in Japan.
