About Kanazawa Institute of Technology Library Center:

Kanazawa Institute of Technology Library Center (KIT-LC) was opened in 1982. Since its opening, the library has acquired 550,000 books and periodicals and been known for one of the best library in the engineering field.

In addition, KIT-LC is  known for the host Library for the Library Round table.  Each year, 5 Americans are invited as guest speakers and talk about themes of the year.  100 Japanese are selected to attend the conference.  It was 30th anniversary last year.

Using the Library

Prior to the Visit: Advance Inquiry Required

• Please verify the desired material is available by using LINKIT-II.

• Please ask your library (Ishikawa prefecure public libraries) to contact them to verify the desired material is available  

• Letter of Introduction (紹介状 Shōkaijō ) Required.

Upon Arrival:

• Please bring the letter of Introduction, 共通閲覧証, (library use permission form?), or a library user card.

Floor Plans: Please refer to "KIT‐LC User Guide" (pdf).

Photocopy:

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.

• Only open stack library materials are allowed to photocopy.
