About the Library:

The ICU Library was opened in 1960. The library holds more than 650,000 volumes that covers a variety of fields within the College of Liberal Arts and its Graduate School.

In 2000,  the new Mildred Topp Othmer Library opened with Japan's first fully automated book storage/retrieval system.
