In addition to annual meetings, special conferences help NCC continue to provide effective and meaningful fulfillment of its mission, as well as celebrate its successes.
Every ten years NCC convenes a Next Decade Conference to prioritize its work for the coming years. All stakeholders (librarians, professors, funders, and other end-users) participate to understand ongoing and new challenges to access of Japanese Resources, and shape the focus of NCC's future programs.
Celebrations help our community pause to reflect on the many accomplishments NCC has worked so hard to achieve, and recognize the hard work and dedication of all those who made it possible.
Next Decade Conference was held in March 2000 in San Diego, CA.
Third Decade (3D) Conference was held in March 2010 at the University of Pennsylvania.
Our 25th Anniversary was celebrated in March 2018 in Washington, D.C.! Explore the Celebration!
