Kansai University: Library (図書館)

About the Central Library:

The University Library was built on the Senriyama Campus in April 1985.  The layout of the library is designed for easy access to the library materials. On the first floor  The service area is located on the first floor, the referees room stores approximately 65,700 reference books, and newly-arrived periodical and newspaper areas store about 4,530 Japanese and foreign titles. On the second floor,  there is an open stack reading room, storing 214,000 books  The audio-visual room and reading rooms for small groups are also located on the second floor.  Finally, On the third floor, there are  three general reading rooms, three special reading rooms, large and small, for group study, rare book stack rooms, and a multipurpose reading room.

Books and Periodicals: 2,260,000 volumes

Electronic journal: 21,000 titles

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects different romanization system used by an individual institution.

Using the Library

Sevice Hours: Monday- Saturday: 10:00-17:00 (Schedule may vary please check ”開館カレンダー")
