About the Museum:

The Otani University museum was founded in October 2003 to preserve and exhibit important cultural materials to the public. Otani University owns eight important cultural objects.

Collection Size: about 12,000 items

Notable Collection(s):

Shunki (春記): Heian period diary written by Tōgū (東宮) Ononomya Sukefusa (権大夫小野宮資房), an important cultural property.

Senchaku hongan nenbutsushū (選択本願念仏集): Kamakura period, comprised and written by Honen (法然) in 16 chapters, an important cultural property.

Yuasa Kagemo kishinjō (湯浅景基寄進状)（明恵加筆文書: Kamakura period, written by YTears for the Lovers (湯浅景基) when Semuiji (施無畏寺) was given to Myōen (明恵), an important cultural property.

Special Exhibition: 300 (240) yen
