About the Library:

The Library, Osaka School of International Public Policy, known as OSIPP Library, is located at Toyonaka campus.

Notable Collections:

• Human Peace and Collective Security: Materials pertaining to peace and security, particularly in Southeast Asia and Africa
• Handbooks in Economics series

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects a different romanization system used by an individual institution or collection.

Using the Library

Prior to the Visit: Letter of Introduction Required

• Letter of Introduction (紹介状 Shōkaijō) from your home institution library. Please use the following form if the home institution does not have one:

• A letter of Introduction (Word,  PDF)

• Please verify the desired material is available by using Osaka University Library Online Catalog.

Upon Arrival:

• Please present a letter of Introduction and some form of personal ID.

Photocopy:

• Not allowed

Note: Temporary lending service is available for photocopying.
