About the Library:

A special feature about the university library is that it adopts an "All Open Stack" policy.  The library provides enhanced services for its users by using the open library system.

• Books: 480,000 volumes

• Periodicals: 14,000 periodical titles

• The World of the Tale of Ise

• Edo Period Travel Notes

• The Kiyoshi Oka Collection: papers, manuscripts, letters, photographs and memoranda of a mathematician Dr.OKA Kiyoshi (Professor Emeritus of Nara Women's University, 1901-1978), donated in 1999 by his family.

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects a different romanization system used by an individual institution or collection.

Using the Library

The Library is all open stack.

Service Hours:

• Monday- Friday: 9:00-17:00

• Saturday, Sunday: requires the library card
