About the Library:

The library stores about 1.8 million volumes.  In addition to books, a variety of  periodicals and visual materials are available.   The library equipped with 1,790 seats and 120 PCs.

Collection Size (As of March 2014)

• Books and Journals: 1,810,000 items

Please note visitors cannot enter the library without prior permission.

Prior to the Visit: Advance Inquiry and Preparation Required

• Please consult your home institute library. 

• Library materials request form (図書閲覧願 Tosho etsuran negai ) from your home institution. Please use the following form if the home institution does not have one:

• Service Hours: 9:30-16:00 (9:30-15:00 during examination and holiday periods). Closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Upon Arrival:

• Please present Library materials request form at  the Information Counter on the first floor.

• Please present some form of ID (Student ID, Faculty ID).

Photocopy:

• Please fill out the request form and drop it in the request box attached to a copier or submit it at the counter.
