About Holocaust Education Center:

The Holocaust Education Center was opened in 1995.  It was the first peace education center in Japan focused on the children of the Holocaust. Since its opening the facility has educated visitors about peace through images and crafts produced by victims. In October, 2007 a new facility was opened to accommodate more visitors.

• Remnants and other materials related to Holocaust

• Art work (paintings) which depict the Holocaust

• Documents related to the Holocaust

• Letters written by people who were involved in the Holocaust (Including messages from survivors to Japanese children)

• Photographs of children at the time of the Holocaust

• Audio visual materials on the Holocaust

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects different romanization system used by an individual institution.
