About the  Library:

Chiba University Library consists of three facilities: the Central Library of the west Chiba campus, the Horticultural Sciences library on the Matsuo Campus and Health Sciences on the Inohana campus.

There are 1,400,000 volumes of books and 25,000 periodicals as well as non-print materials, including 17,000 full-text online journals, the University institutional repository and other reference resources.

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects different romanization system used by an individual institution.

Borrowing: Individuals who are over 20 years old can take up to two books for a three week period. Please purchase a Library Card 図書館利用証 (500yen).
