Overview

About Arizona State University:

Founded in 1885 as the Territorial Normal School at Tempe, it was renamed Arizona State College in 1945 when it came under the control of the Arizona Board of Regents, and is one of the largest public universities in the United States.

Japanese is taught within the East & Southeast Asian area of the School of International Letters and Cultures, along with Chinese, Hindi-Urdu, Indonesian, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese.
