About Temple University Japan
Temple University Japan (TUJ) was created in the wave of Japan campus creation by US institutions initiated in the 1980s and early 90s at the peak of the "Bubble Economy." From the start Temple University was one of the most creative and successful, and in the wake of Japan's "Lost Decades" Temple is almost the only surviving institution, and by far the most successful ever. Founded in 1982, TUJ has developed into a nationally recognized institution offering an extensive range of educational programs. In addition to its core undergraduate program, TUJ offers graduate programs in law, business, and education; an English-language preparation program; continuing education courses; and corporate education classes.
