About Dietary Culture Library:
The Dietary Culture Library is operated by the Ajinomoto Foundation for Dietary Culture, which was established in 1989 under the authorization of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. In 2004, the facility was relocated to Ajinomoto Group Takanawa Training Center. The library holds information materials, including monographs, scholarly papers, literature, periodicals which are related to dietary culture, food, cooking books from the Edo to Showa period, and wood block prints that are related to dietary culture. The Osaka Branch was opened in 2003.
Users can also access the information materials held by the Kagawa Education Institute of Nutrition library and the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology library.

About Ditetary Culture Center:
Established in 1989, the Ajinomoto Foundation for Dietary Culture has conducted various food culture studies through academic research and circulates its findings. Its mission is to research and educate the public for a deeper understanding on food culture through its magazine Vesta, public symposiums and public lectures, and food culture related exhibitions.
