About Japan Science and Technology Agency:

The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) is responsible for implementing policies which relate to the science and technology field in Japan. JST also assists other research institutions by creating infrastructure for researches and innovations, and help public aware of the science and technology related issues.

JST was first founded as the Japan Information Center of Science and Technology (JICST) in 1957.  In October 1, 2003, it became an independent administrative institution and changed its name to the Japan Science and Technology Agency.

There are useful information available on the JST website, including research report, invention ideas which are both inside and outside of Japan.  Some contents require advance Japanese reading skills.  In addition, some contents ask users to become members before they can access to those contents.  Because there are so many contents, some of important contents are listed here:
