Goverment Data Research Center of Japan has been closed since 2013. However, their materials are available online as digital archives.  the page is going to update information as avaialble.

About the Government Data Research Center of Japan:

Founded in 1971, the Government Data Research Center (GDRC) holds information resources created and published by Japanese goverment agencies.

GCDR restricts online database access from outside.  Membership is required in order to access their database.  However, there is updated information for newly arrived material, which is available from their webpage. Please see Raiburari Shinchaku jōhō (ライブラリ 新着情報).

Directions:

• 3 minutue's walk from Hatchōbori Station Exit B4 of Metro Hibiya Line (東京メトロ 日比谷線 八丁堀駅).　

• 3 minute's walk from Hatchōbori Station Exit B4 of JR Keiyō Line (ＪＲ 京葉線／八丁堀駅).　

Using the Library

Prior to the Visit: Permission from the facility is required (may need introduction from home library).

Upon Arrival:

• Please use the on-site goverment data database or library catalog card.

• For information materials on closed stacks, please fill out Shiryō Senta nyūkan eturanhyō (資料センター入館・閲覧票) at the counter.

• Up to 5 information materials may be requested simultaneously.

• Please return information materials to the counter after finish reading along with Nyūkan eturanhyō (入館・閲覧票).

• Please ask the library staff for further service and information.

Photocopy: 

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.

• Please fill out Shiryō mōshikomisho (資料申込書) and ask at the counter.
