About Japan Institute for Labor Policy and Training 

The Japan Institute For Labor Policy And Training (JILPT),  is an independent administrative corporation  under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.  JILPT conducts comprehensive surveys and research on the circumstances and labor policies concerning domestic and foreign labor and the dissemination of the results and utilize the results and conduct training for officials and other stakeholders in charge of work which is related to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. Their findings are used to make Japan's labor policies.
