About the Ichigaya Campus Library:

The Ichigaya campus Library serves students and academic staff in the Graduate School of Law. The Library houses a selected collection of the latest specialist volumes and periodicals in the legal field. In addition, the electronic information services environment helps users doing all kinds of research. While classes are in session, the library is open on Sundays and holidays.  The third-floor reading room is open year-round except during the New Year’s holidays.

Focus: Public Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, International Business Law, Politics

Using the Library

Reading only

Reference Service Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 10:00-17:30

• Saturday: 10:00-12:30

Note: Schedule may change during intersession.

Prior to the Visit:

• Letter of Introduction (紹介状 Shōkaijō) from your home institution library. Please use the following form if the home institution does not have one:

• A letter of Introduction (Word,  PDF)

• Please contact the Libray through home institution library to make sure the material(s) is available:

Upon Arrival:

• Please present the Letter of Introduction.
  

• Please present some form of ID.
