About the Library:

The Information Center and Library consists of Reading Rooms, the Information Center, and the library holdings about 230,000 books in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Art, including Manga. The Media Center holds an extensive collection of audio visual materials.

Note: The Guide uses the ALA/LC standard romanization, however, it also reflects a different romanization system used by an individual institution or collection.

Using the Library

Prior to the Visit:

• Please verify the desired material is available by using opac.

Upon Arrival:

• Please present some form of personal ID.
• Please fill out the sign up sheet at the reception desk on 2nd fl. to receive the visitor's permit.

• Photocopy services are provided in accordance with Japanese copyright laws.

• Purchase copy card (1,000 yen), or please ask at the circulation desk on 2nd floor (please make sure to bring some change).
