About the Library:

The Center's Library holds about 100,000 volumes of library materials related to the women's suffrage movement in Japan They include documents from elections, magazines published by various women's organizations before and after World War II, women's magazines, and materials related to the women's movement and issues of gender.  Most of the important materials dating from before WW II were safely kept by Ichikawa herself during the war period.

Because of the concern of the deterioration of materials over time, the Center has been actively micro-filming documents since 2000.  Currently, there are about 80,000 holdings found in the microfilm.
