The Vendor Guidelines were created collaboratively by members of the Digital Resources Committee with input from Japan Studies librarians in North America with the goal of communicating to Japanese suppliers the special needs of their overseas customers with regard to Japanese digital resources.
Please contact vendors and agents below for more information including possible free trial, licensing, and pricing of the individual databases.
NOTE: In many cases the agent or vendor may be willing to work with you to create a group subscription to a resource. A group subscription, in which your institution subscribes to a resource along with several others, can often result in a more affordable subscription price. In addition, subscriptions for individual scholars rather than institutional subscriptions may also be available. Always ask the agent or vendor what is possible. This list is applicable only in North America.
