About the University of Colorado Boulder:

Founded in 1876, the University of Colorado is as old as the state itself. Now the flagship campus for the university system, the Boulder campus was the original campus for the university. Other campuses include one in Colorado Springs and Denver, with a medical campus in Aurora.

The University of Colorado is now the top public research university in the state, with leading programs in the arts, business, education, engineering, the humanities, law, music, the sciences, and other fields of study.
