About Nihon University:

Nihon University (日本大学 Nihon Daigaku ) is a private university that is considered Japan's largest institution of higher learning. The procedure of the school was Nihon Law School (日本法律学校 Nihon hōritsu gakkō) founded by Count Akiyoshi Yamada, the first Minister of Justice of the Meiji in 1889.

Today, Nihon University has 14 colleges and 83 departments, 20 postgraduate schools, 1 junior college which is composed of 6 departments, 1 correspondence division, 32 research institutes and 3 hospitals.
