Welcome

NCC's Online Guide to Research Access in Japanese Museum's Libraries and Archives (MLAs) (日本研究のためのMLAアクセスガイド) was created for scholars and students who wish to conduct research or study in Japanese academic research institutions (MLA).

The first volume of this guide was published on March 11, 2012 in commemoration of the first anniversary of Japan's triple disasters of 3/11, and new editions each containing entries for new 50 institutions and their principal collections are published annually.  Additional updates and expansions are added each year.

Announcement

NCC's MLA Research Access Guides is now being expanded to include the major Japanese collections in museums, libraries and archives worldwide.  The first North American edition will be published in 2014.

What else is new?

New Layout: Makes more prominent important information, such as Contact Information and links to Online Library Catalog and Access.

Institution Index: Each guide page can now be browsed by Academic Subject, and located by using an interactive map.
